Icelandic guitarist Kristinn Arnason won the Icelandic Music Award in 1997 and received a prize from the Kristjan Eldjarn memorial fund in 2007. He played at Segovia´s last master class and has been nominated for the cultural prize awarded by Icelandic newspaper DV.
